Would you like to be part of an organisation which is passionate about the UK’s heritage and one which is helping to save historic buildings at risk? If the answer is yes, then we would love to hear from you and give you the opportunity to join our team.
Currently, we are looking for a new trustee to join us to assist in the running of the Trust and to help us rescue the “Bretby Art Pottery Showroom”.
Ideally, you will share our passion for the historic environment and possess skills which are relevant to the repair and reuse of historic buildings. You will be involved in all of the decision-making of The Heritage Trust and be part of a progressive non-profit organisation which is making a difference to our heritage at risk.
As part of The Heritage Trusts core group, you must be willing to travel to areas of the East and West Midlands for site visits and be able to attend at least six trustee meetings each year that are normally held in Derby and Swadlincote. The role will be purely voluntary, however, there are funding opportunities to learn new skills and experience. If you would like to express an interest, then please send a copy of your CV along with a single A4 page detailing your skills and experience and motivation to become a trustee of The Heritage Trust to email@example.com. Or download the short expression of interest form below and return to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you would like further information of the position, please contact us or ring John Somers on 07741 091 719.
Applications must be received by March the 31st and interviews will be held in early May 2017.
