HLF releases new Resilient Heritage Grant
The Heritage Lottery Fund launch their new grant programme which is to replace the Catalyst, Start-Up and Transition grant schemes combining them to make grants available of between £3k and £250.
With £8 million annual investment the new programme will be available for organisations who want to build their capacity or achieve strategic change including:
Acquire new skills or knowledge to help build fundraising capacity or open up new income streams
Explore new business operating models or introduce new approaches to governance and leadership
Identify opportunities to reduce negative environmental impacts and make efficiency savings
Create partnerships between heritage organisations to provide training and capacity building
Prepare to take on new responsibility for heritage, such as through community asset transfer
Currently there are no application deadlines with applications for Resilient Heritage and applications are discussed at monthly advisory meetings within decisions for approval being made within eight weeks.
