The Architectural Heritage Fund helps The Heritage Trust

Great news today; we have just found out that we have been awarded a grant for £2,100 by the Architectural Heritage Fund to help with the preparation of a project viability report in respect of the Bretby Art Pottery Showroom. The amount is going to be match funded by a couple of the current trustees to make the total amount of £4,200 which is needed to compile the professional report on the reuse of the building. Uses will be investigated which enable outcomes for people, heritage and communities and will help in the acquisition of the building.

The Architectural Heritage Fund was founded in 1976 to promote the re-use and conservation of historic buildings within the UK for the benefit of the community. They do this by providing advice, loans and grants to charities and not-for-profit organisations. Regional representatives assist these groups from the early stage of a project until completion. more
